We are looking for an amazing mechanic to join our team at our new store at Cyclopark, Europe’s largest bespoke cycle park in Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, motivated mechanic to take their career to the next level and join a highly effective, growing, fast-moving and award winning business.
The successful candidate will be joining an inclusive, friendly, dynamic and fun team who take pride in their work and who enjoy building long term relationships with their customers within a varied role.
Minimum Cytech level 2 with at least 2 years experience.
Have a hands on, can do approach and mentality.
can calmly work under pressure and to successfully manage and control standards, systems and processes to a very high level.
can manage a diverse and volatile workload.
Experience in team supervision and development.
Ideally have experience of suspension servicing.
Cyclopark has a broad riding spectrum including road, MTB, track BMX, park BMX and cyclocross meaning that the successful candidate must be able to be dynamic and use their initiative to solve problems and complete jobs within defined timeframes. The business attracts all users from beginner to pro-elite. As a large proportion of work will be on high end road bikes, a good level of road specific knowledge is desirable. An interest or knowledge of sports science, lactate testing and bike fitting would also be advantageous, although not essential.
